GOOD NEWS for men, edition numero two.
Because, whatever some media outlets will have you believe, men and masculinity isn’t all doom, gloom and negativity.
So, what’s been happening in the world of men recently that gives us reason to celebrate?
People talking about healthy masculinity. The actor Drake Bell (star of Drake and Josh) was on a podcast recently talking about how he’s raising his 4-year-old son to have a healthier view of masculinity. We don’t necessarily agree with everything he said, but the point here is that the conversation around masculinity is picking up steam - more celebrities talking about it, it appearing on more podcasts. It doesn’t matter if the conversation isn’t always exactly how we’d have it or what we’d say, but what does matter is we’re having more nuanced conversations on masculinity rather than just talking about Andrew Tate all the time.
Better conversations on hair loss. Speaking of the above, George wrote a post last week on his hair transplant, and the response was lovely. 100+ people in the comments (men and women) giving their support. The day is coming when men don’t have to hide this stuff in the shadows.
Record numbers for ANDYSMANCLUB. The free-to-attend men's community saw record numbers of attendance on the 1st September 2025, with 6243 men walking through the door. Boom! Lovely post about it here from their co-founder, Luke Ambler.
Boy’s Book Club. A cool initiative launched that aims to encourage more men to read a range of fiction, while also creating space for conversations on masculinity. Check them out here.
Good men building communities. We’re running a free event for any men out there who are working hard to support and grow other men. More details here - would love to see you there!
Have you seen any good news about men recently, or have some to share yourself? Let us know and we’ll try to include it in the next roundup!
